Pupil Groups
Spiritual Council
Who?
The Spiritual Council are made up of children in KS2 who have applied for and been awarded a place on the council. They meet regularly and are able to lead and take part in whole school collective worship. Throughout the year they will lead events including our whole school faith days. At lunch times they will lead prayer sessions in the 'space.' They are also involved in monitoring worship and providing feedback to staff.
What?
Each class representative meets with their class to discuss ideas about changes and improvements to the school. The issues are then raised in the meetings and councillors discuss how to move forward with these ideas. They carry out surveys and votes within their classes so that each class’s opinion is represented. They also help to organise different fundraising events with the Head Teacher.
Why?
- To improve the school according to the children’s point of view.
- To make sure each class has an opportunity to voice their opinions.
- To discuss and raise issues.
- To discuss any issues with the Head Teacher.
Librarians
Who?
The Librarians are made up of children from KS2 who have applied for and been successful in being awarded a place on the team. They are responsible for ensuring our super library is tidy and kept up to date.
What?

The issues are then raised in the meetings and councillors discuss how to move forward with these ideas. They carry out surveys and votes within their classes so that each class’s opinion is represented. They also help to organise different fundraising events with the Head Teacher.

Sports Leaders
Who?
The Sports Crew are made up of children who have applied for and been rewarded with a place on the team. They receive training in order to lead events at break/lunch time for their peers and children in EYFS/KS1. They also assist staff to lead/umpire and score events throughout the year including termly house competitions.

Magnificant Minds
Who?
The Magnificent Minds team consists of children from KS2 who have applied for and been rewarded with a place on the team. The children meet regularly and organise and led various events throughout the year.
